Jason Kennedy’s Son, 2, in ICU With Mystery Infection That Has Doctors “Perplexed”
Jason Kennedy‘s family is facing a terrifying health ordeal.
The former E! News host and his wife of 11 years Lauren Scruggs Kennedy shared that their 2-year-old son Ryver Rhodes was hospitalized due to a mysterious infection.
“If you could say a prayer for our boy Ryver it would mean a lot,” the couple wrote in a joint Feb. 26 Instagram post, alongside a photo of their son sitting on his dad’s lap while in the doctor’s room. “Day 2 in pediatric intensive care, the infection is leaving doctors perplexed and we are hopeful for more answers today.”
And Jason—who is also dad to daughter Poppy Ford, 16 months, with Lauren—went on to provide some insight into how they’re coping with the scary experience by resharing the post to his Instagram Story with Vertical Worship‘s song “Yes I Will” playing in the background.
“Gutting to see him in this kind of pain,” he added. “This song has been our anthem.”
