Havoc Release Date Set in Teaser Trailer for Tom Hardy & Gareth Evans Netflix Movie

The first teaser trailer for Havoc has unveiled the official release date for Netflix‘s newest action thriller movie. It will be led by Academy Award nominee Tom Hardy as a detective who must fight against different kinds of powerful enemies.

“Walker is a bruised detective fighting his way through the criminal underworld threatening to engulf his entire city. In the aftermath of a drug deal gone wrong, Walker finds himself with a number of factions on his tail; a vengeful crime syndicate, a crooked politician, as well as his fellow cops,” reads the official synopsis. “When attempting to rescue the politician’s estranged son, whose involvement in the drug deal starts to unravel a deep web of corruption and conspiracy, he is forced to confront the demons of his past.”

When is the Havoc release date?

The Havoc release date has been set, as the film will start streaming on April 25, 2025, exclusively on Netflix. In addition to Hardy, the film will also star Jessie Mei Li, Justin Cornwell, Quelin Sepulveda, Luis Guzmán, Michelle Waterson, Sunny Pang, Jim Caesar, Xelia Mendes-Jones with Yeo Yann Yann, Timothy Olyphant, and Forest Whitaker.

Described as a high octane action thriller, the film is written and directed by Gareth Evans, who is best known for his works on The Raid movie, and the Gangs of London series. It is produced by Hardy, Evans, Ed Talfan, and Aram Tertzakian. The creative team also includes director of photography Matt Flannery, editor Sara Jones, editor Matt Platts-Mills, and action design & stunt coordinator Jude Poyer, with composer Aria Prayogi providing the music.
