Kate Hudson Says She Flirts with ‘Everybody’ and Fiancé Danny Fujikawa Is OK with It

Kate Hudson is grateful to have found a partner who can “handle” her flirtatious behavior.

The Running Point star, 45, told Bustle that her fiancé Danny Fujikawa — with whom she shares her youngest child, daughter Rani, 6 — is okay with her playfully flirting with other people.

“I’m the biggest flirt on the planet,” said Hudson. “So I think anybody who’s ever been with me is very aware that I flirt with everybody — girls, boys. Thank God Danny is my partner. He can handle this. I met the right guy.”

Hudson is also mom to son Ryder, 21, with ex-husband Chris Robinson and son Bing, 13, with ex-fiancé Matt Bellamy.

In the Bustle interview, the Oscar nominee also spoke about her Running Point costars being easy on the eyes. The Netflix comedy series features Justin Theroux, Max Greenfield and Jay Ellis.

“I was like, ‘What a dream! We have so many beautiful men to work with every day,” said Hudson. “I mean, on this set I was like, ‘How lucky am I? This is not difficult.’ ” She was swooning over castmate Toby Sandeman at one point: “I remember there’s a scene where he comes in in this white suit, and he actually took my breath away. I literally was like, ‘Hi.’ ”

In a December 2017 Instagram tribute, Hudson recalled meeting her musician partner Fujikawa, 38.

“The first time I met Danny I was 23 and enormously pregnant with Ryder. His step sisters are my best friends @sarafoster @erinfoster and so it goes we have been in the same circle for over a decade,” she wrote at the time. “A year ago today Danny took me on a hike and what I thought was just a hike with a family friend turned very quickly into an unexpected first date.”

“No moves were made on this first date. In fact, it took months for him to make a first move! And as a kiss on this bridge would have been nice, the kiss a year later was so much sweeter,” continued Hudson.

“So on our 15th year of knowing each other we were able to open our hearts to each other to feel so much pure love and it’s been truly incredible.”
