Kristen Bell Makes 4 Armani Outfit Changes to Host SAG Awards 2025

Outfit changes are a must for any awards show host and for the 2025 SAG Awards, Kristen Bell delivered in four designer looks that had us jotting down notes mid-show.

On Feb. 23, the actress, 44, returned to the awards shows to lead the star-studded night celebrating film and television. She first hosted the broadcast in 2018.

She aced her gig in four Giorgio Armani Privé ensembles that ranged from tailored suits to elaborately made gowns.

The Nobody Wants This star, who was nominated for outstanding performance by a female actor in a comedy series, kicked off her parade of outfits in a floor-length silk tulle strapless gown completely embroidered with crystals.

The embellished design was also covered in front-to-back crinoline ruffles that accented the body-hugging silhouette.

After wrapping up the carpet, Bell slipped into a white tuxedo with a silk shawl collar blazer and straight-leg pants to open the show. This tailored menswear-inspired look was her first of the night. She changed into a black silk notch tuxedo, which she wore with a dazzling necklace and drop earrings, to close out the ceremony.

At one point in the night, she also rocked a second gown that was entirely different from her first, as it was embroidered with black sequins to complement the blue and black beaded skirt, which was splashed in an abstract print.

A red carpet pro and seasoned SAG Awards attendee, Bell knows what it takes to pull of a major style moment — even if that includes some not-so-glamorous work behind the scenes.

Before the show, the Snacks and Bio-Hacks podcaster posted a too-relatable video to her Instagram Stories that showed her topless and shaking her booty in a surprising undergarment.

“Hey quick question, do you ever come right back from Mexico and have to go to an award show?” she began the clip. “Try a pull-up underneath your dress.”

The cheeky look may not have actually been from before this awards show — it appeared to be from Golden Globes night — but it was relatable all the same and showed just how cut out for the hosting gig she truly is.

In addition to her multiple ensembles, Bell’s hosting appearance was filled with playful roasts, a Frozen-inspired musical opener dubbed “Do You Want to Be an Actor” as a play on the animated film’s most famous song “Do You Want to Build a Snowman,” which was originally by Bell. She also reunited with her Gossip Girl costar Leighton Meester for a skit nodding to The CW series in which the two starred from 2007-2012.

It appeared as though Bell’s husband, Dax Shepard, was not in attendance. However, the two, who wed in October 2013 and share two daughters, were together to speak at the Power of Love gala in Las Vegas on Feb. 22. The two also had a glam date night out at the 2025 Golden Globes.

Before taking the stage, Bell spoke with PEOPLE exclusively about the gravity of hosting an awards show following the sweeping wildfires that Los Angeles has been recovering from since the devastating events began on Jan. 7 in the Pacific Palisades region.

“It felt very superfluous to have an awards show,” she said. “I felt, ‘We should cancel all of the awards this year and donate all of the money!’ ”

But, she continued, “I realized, ‘Wait a minute. If you cancel the awards shows, you are canceling, hundreds of hundreds if not thousands of jobs for people in Los Angeles who need them.’ ” She added: “Gig workers, musicians, hairstylists, makeup artists, drivers, caterers, tech workers — it’s actually imperative to the economy of rebuilding that we have these awards shows.”
