Pokemon Concierge will be back for a second season this year on Netflix, The Pokemon Company has just confirmed during the latest Pokemon Presents livestream.
We already knew the acclaimed stop-motion animation series would be back, but it was unclear when that would happen. Now, it’s been announced the release window set is September 2025. More details will be shared at a later date.
No plot details have been shared either, but protagonist Haru and her Psyduck companion will be back. We’re not entirely ruling out a tie-in of sorts into Pokemon Legends ZA, but that’s just speculation on our part due to the suspicious timing.
The first season of Pokemon Concierge dropped on Netflix on December 28, 2023, with four short episodes that were, surprisingly, released all at once. The unique texture and style, plus the relaxing writing, instantly made it a fan-favorite show for Pokemon fans of all ages and levels of experience with the franchise, which is probably what The Pokemon Company was aiming for. Combats weren’t a part of the show, and it strictly focused on the day-to-day life of Haru, a woman going through a bad patch and looking to switch things up at the Pokemon Resort.
The series was co-produced with animation studio Dwarf Studios, Netflix Animation, and The Pokemon Company itself; all are involved in the making of season 2, so expect the quality to stay high. New episodes for the show were first confirmed to be in production in February 2024, thus the second volume has been brewing for a quite a while now.
Neither the episode count nor the runtime of the all-new episodes (the originals were around 15-20 minutes long) have been confirmed yet, but we’re expecting to learn more in Netflix’s events planned for later this year.
Meanwhile, The Pokemon Company has shared the four original episodes of the show for free on its YouTube channel until March 9. After that nearby date, they’ll remain available exclusively on Netflix. You can watch the first one below:
