- Some good news for CNN: In primetime, the network grew by +1% in total viewers and +5% in the demo. During total day, CNN was down by -10% in total viewers and -6% in the demo.
PROGRAMMING:
Fox News took 14 out of the 15 spots of the most-watched cable news shows of the week, with The Five (4.792 million viewers at 5 p.m. ET) continuing its reign. The lone non-Fox News program was MSNBC’s The Rachel Maddow Show (2.023 million viewers at 9 p.m. ET, which finished in the 13th spot.
The Five (563,000 viewers at 5 p.m. ET) was also first among A25-54 viewers, with Fox News once again taking 14 out of the 15 spots. The Rachel Maddow Show (196,000 viewers at 9 p.m. ET) landed at No. 15.
