The second part of Fox News’ Super Bowl interview with President Donald Trump is set to air Monday at 6 p.m. ET on Special Report with Bret Baier.
Previews of the interview aired throughout the day on Monday, with the first preview airing on Fox & Friends. The clip featured Trump insisting the land the Palestinians currently occupy in the Gaza Strip will be used to build a “real estate development for the future.”
The president further reiterated that the Palestinians will not be part of this new development deal, and they will not have access to their land. Instead, they will be resettled into new communities built somewhere else in the region.
Possible locations for the redevelopment would include Jordan and Egypt, with Trump suggesting that the aid the U.S. provides those countries would be used as leverage to get them to agree to take in the Palestinians.
The second preview featured Baier asking the president if he viewed his vice president, J.D. Vance, as a would-be successor in 2028. “No, but he’s very capable,” Trump replied. “You have a lot of very capable people. So far, I think he’s doing a fantastic job.”
The first part of Baier’s interview with the president was part of Fox Sports’ Super Bowl 59 pregame coverage. During that portion of their conversation, Trump was asked then about the controversy surrounding Elon Musk and the Department of Governmental Efficiency or DOGE.
In recent weeks, Musk has disrupted federal agencies like USAID and the Treasury Department in a self-stated quest to reduce government spending. Those actions have resulted in numerous lawsuits, firings, and resignations within the civil service.
In his interview with Baier, Trump expressed full support for Musk, saying that he’s “been terrific.”
